A computer scientist believes they have uncovered what's coming up in Division 2's first eight-man raid, Operation Dark Hours.
In a post on reddit (thanks to PCGN), kevindavid40 believes they have "managed to decrypt the game asset file" and lists in amazing details what they think raid will include. While we often see scary attempts to convince players of fake "leaks", kevindavid40's claims are interesting according to the amazing details they provide.
"Morning Agents!" said kevindavid40. "I managed to decrypt the asset file and got more interesting information about the upcoming Raid. I just want to say that it looks true of hardcore playoff activity based on the size of the card and the goals of this raid."
Of course, these requirements are currently unverified and may ruin the game for those still working through the main campaign, so Please be careful if you are sensitive to unsubstantiated rumors or spoilers.
According to data, the raid's goal is to get to Arlington Island. Agents will kick off at Ronald Reagan Airport, close to the Lincoln Memorial, and – "without chronological order" – must survive the assault on the bridge, find the stolen GPS coordinates, protect the named agent on your team, confirm the kitten by the other hand, lieutenant , rendezvous with your team (suggesting that you will be split, at least temporarily), survive the blackout attack, find the activation code, retrieve your team for safety, split teams and flank the goal, stop convoy from leaving the runway and take bombardment from high ground.
Incredibly, the computer calculates itself by knowing which trophies / achievements are at stake too; Ruthless (to make it through the bridge in an hour or less), Extreme measures (to get your most killings with signature weapons), Reminder of me (to kill any of the hunters who killed you before) and Gone Baby Gone flying interceptors in less than 2 minutes). I'll be honest; None of that sounds easy.
A subsequent post to post adds details of an additional mission – "Nighthawk" – although it is not unclear what this might mean.
Division 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more specific information on what should come on Division 2, Ubisoft has recently outlined its Year One roadmap. Unfortunately, there are no plans yet to change the heartbreaking fact that no, you can't pet the poor homeless dogs in Division 2.
