Mars Curiosity Rover has brought a dramatic farewell to a region that has been exploring for more than a year with a vista shot that would be ashamed of the most avid Instagram man.
The NASA rover explored Vera Rubin Ridge on Mars & # 39; Mount Sharp, but has now fallen to a region with the somewhat less striking name of "the clay carrying unit".
But before the rover came down to the top, it took time to pause at the top of Vera Rubin Ridge – named for a pioneering American astronomer – and took a 360 degree view of the view.
And despite the view being of a bunch of barren cliffs, it's pretty impressive.
Check out some foreign horizons here.
