4 investment stories you have missed in ASX200 this week

The S&P / ASX 200 (Index: ^ AXJO) (ASX: XJO) was eventful this week. Here are four great stories you may have missed that hit the ASX 200 index:

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA) delays wealth decomposition

Commonwealth Bank had been on the verge of breaking down its asset management and mortgage business.

While the bank said it prioritized the implementation of the Royal Commission recommendations, repaid customers and remedied past issues, the CBA has suspended its merger process to support the focus of these priorities.

Kogan.Com Ltd (ASX: KGN) takes on Amazon

Aussie Online Retail Kogan.Com has launched the Kogan Marketplace, a place where over 100,000 products are sold from a wide variety of third-party brands, including Microsoft Breville Group Ltd (ASX: BRG), Lego, Fisher-Price, Paw Patrol, SodaStream, Gillette, Gucci and Philips.

This news sent the Kogan.Com share price higher 4% by the end of the week.

Brexit continues

Recent discussions with Brexit create great confusion for the rest of the world, especially in Europe.

There are not many ASX shares that have high exposure to the UK. But two exposed to Britain are finished higher with an unsatisfactory result apparently maybe less likely. CYBG Plc (ASX: CYB) shares rose 5.2% over the week and Ramsay Health Care Limited (ASX: RHC) shares rose 3%.

Valid for Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM)?

Newcrest has entered into an exploration farm-in agreement that creates a joint venture with Greatland Gold plc at Havieron Rentals located in WA. Newcrest will be head of the exploration program.

Newcrest is a decent idea as a hedge against markets that fall in value, but in the long run I think it is better to buy ASX grows like these.
