At Sunamganj's birthday ceremony, Bir Muktijuddha Jalaf Ali (80) committed suicide in marriage
Sunday afternoon, his body was restored from the bathroom by the Sunamganj District Freedom Fighter Complex.
Jalaf Ali is the son of late Amir Ali of the Narayetla area of Sunamganj Sadar upazila during the Jahangir Nagar Union. He participated in the Liberation War in 1971.
According to the family and police, Sunday morning, to attend Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 99th birthday and child day, Narayantala came to the District Freedom Fighters Complex. At that time he went to the toilet.
After a few hours he didn't get an answer. Later, the police came to know the police and restored the dead body while breaking the bathroom door and lying on the ground. At this time, a pesticide bottle was found from the body. Later, the body was sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Ahad, police superintendent Barkatullah Khan, visited extra vice commissioner Shariful Islam, Harun Or Rashid instead.
