Beerschot Wilrijk has been appointed Tongeren Court as a plaintiff in the big money laundering investigation and arranged matches in Belgian football. That's what the rats said Tuesday night.
As a plaintiff, Beerschot can then carefully monitor the case and assess the risk of damage and consequences for the clubs D1A and D1B. Previously, the Belgian Football Association (URBSFA) and Pro League had already formed civilian parties.
"Beerschot will obviously respect the privacy of the investigation, but will communicate over time," said the Antwerp club on its website.
