Johnny Hallyda's posthumous album exceeds one million copies sold

The seller on Friday, October 19th, the seller's 51th album had already broken a sales record by becoming a diamond disc (more than 500,000 copies sold) in three days. By the end of its first marketing day, the album had already reached the extraordinary pile of 300,000 physical sales.

It must be said that "My country is love" was the subject of a pharaonic unit from the record company Warner Music France, with an exceptional implementation from the first day of 800,000 copies. "We hope to sell the maximum," said his boss Thierry Chassagne at the presentation of the record.

In view of these performances, the record would be the biggest commercial success of Johnny Hallyday, who died in December at the age of 74, and beat the record held by the album "Blood for Blood", which he had recorded with his son David in 1999 and sold more than 2 million copies.
