The accident happened on Nalinnes Street shortly after a bend. A Clio, led by a young resident of Ham-sur-Heure, came out of this swing in the direction of the ascent. At the same time, another car came in the other direction: the two vehicles hit each other in a frontal and violent manner.
Relief quickly came to the scene: firefighters from the Hainaut East rescue zone as well as two ambulances who took the two victims to the hospital, one to Vésale, the other to Marie Curie.
Local police in the Germinalt area were present at the scene in the eyes of locals and had access to the street closed. A convenience store was required to remove both vehicles.
