The performance trend in the last quarter attracted investors to Finland's game developer Rovio.
The producer of the former battle game Angry Birds boasted excellent results in the third quarter.
Operating profit increased to EUR 10.4 million after 4 million in the same period last year.
However, the Finnish company is cautious for the current year due to increased competition and high marketing costs, DPA reported.
Rovio now expects revenue for the year in the range of 280 to 290 million euros, with previous forecasts of 260-300 million euros. Last year, the company generated revenues of 297 million euros.
As a result, the shares increased to more than 14 percent on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
