The Peugeot 508 is this year's new car to Bulgaria in the traditional competition of "Press Auto Club – Bulgaria" (PAK), and the car has competed with another 23 models competing in six categories.
PAK gathers 37 journalists writing for cars, voting in year 32 away. For the second time, this year's car was chosen among the winners in all categories with live voice at the actual ceremony.
The Peugeot 508, the BMW X5, the Peugeot Rifter, the Volvo XC40 and the BMW 8 series claimed the title "Automobile Car".
508 total 16 votes, and for the BMW X5 there were 13. At the start of the competition were 55 models. Of these, five finalists in each class were nominated. Only four environmental wagons were participants.
PAC members rated the cars in six main criteria – design, propulsion, functionality, road behavior, safety and price / supply. In the cars, the winner was the Peugeot 508, which won over the Audi A6, the BMW 8 series, Ford Focus and Kia Seed.
The best crossover title for Bulgaria deserves the BMW X5, preferred for Honda CR-V. The other contenders were Citroën C5 Aircross, Suzuki Jimmen and Volkswagen Tuareg.
In the category of multifunctional vehicles, the winner is Peugeot Rifter, which takes over Citroen Berlingo, Opel Combo, Mercedes X Class and Sanyo Musso.
Nissan Leaf Electric triumphs with environmental models. The other finalists were the Hyundai Eona Electrik, the Lexus LS and the Mitsubishi Outlet PHEV
Among the urban models, the members of "Press Auto Club – Bulgaria" chose the "Volvo" XC40, which handled the competition from the BMW X2, Hyundai Kona Electric, Maindra KUV100 and Nissan Leaf.
On premium models, automotive journalists gave their preference to BMB Series 8. The runners were the Audi Q8, the BMW X5, the Volvo V60 and the Volkswagen Tuareg.
