Aggressive accident victims taken to the hospital by Okanagan RCMP



A woman who drove a truck near the Glenrosa transition from Highway 97 on Tuesday afternoon was also determined to be aggressive to be assisted by paramedics, according to the West Kelowna RCMP.

The woman was heard screaming incoherently from the back of the police car.

The police said the woman drove the pickup truck east on Glenrosa Road around kl. 4:30 when the vehicle swung into the contradictory lane and crashed into a cement barrier.

Traffic in the area was delayed for some time due to the crash.

A man who identified himself as the woman's boyfriend arrived on the spot to assess the damage to his truck, as he said she drove without his consent.

Ambulance staff on site could not keep her calm, said RCMP to Global News.

Police escorted the woman to Kelowna General Hospital for assessment of indefinite injuries.

The roads were wet due to rain and snow at the time of the crash.
