Environment Canada has issued a special weather forecast for the Montreal area, where we count between 15 and 30 cm of snowfall on Wednesday morning.
The warning also affects Chateauguay, Laval, Longueuil.
According to meteorologists, a "big storm" will move over Southwestern Quebec on Tuesday, starting in the afternoon and quickly intensifying in the evening.
On Wednesday, Montrealers can expect "heavy rainfall," snow accumulation and blowing snow due to strong winds.
St. The Lawrence Valley and the Outaouais region could see as much as 30 to 40 cm of snowfall.
Experts say taking the necessary precautions to ensure road safety.
So far, Montreal has experienced two major snowstorms, combined with extreme cold.
