REUTERS: Onion avidity of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier through injuries make Paris St Germain "unpredictable" against Manchester United in their Champions League meeting on Tuesday, Premier League leader Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said.
Forward-facing Neymar and Cavani, who scored 41 goals between them this season, are equated to foot and hip muscle injuries, respectively, while Meunier rested on the Old Trafford tour after having a concussion.
"A team lacking players like Neymar, Cavani, Meunier will miss them, but it gives other players a chance," Solskjaer told reporters before his first European game as United's caretaker manager.
"It makes it more unpredictable for us who they want to play. When you see the front three (by Neymar, Cavani and Kylian Mbappe), you know how to play so we guess a little."
Solskjaer was in Lyon last weekend with assistant manager Mike Phelan to see PSG in action in Ligue 1, but the Norwegian leader said he could not judge Thomas Tuchel's side based on their league form alone.
PSG is 10 points in league 1 with two games in the hand and has won five of the last six league titles.
"It's hard to compare games because when they play in the league, they know they will still win it," said Solskjaer in front of the first leg in their last 16 meetings.
"So they approach the Champions League differently. You are trying to do due diligence."
