Brutal submission caps of prelims
In his retirement match, 42-year-old Kazuyuki Miyata (16-9) retrieved a brutal opposition winner over Erson Yamamoto (2-4), who competed to honor his uncle, Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto, who died earlier this year.
The 22-year-old Yamamoto showed great heart and determination throughout the affair and fought for a seemingly uninterrupted streak of submission attempts. However, Miyata in the second round could secure a hammerlock and then sweep to the top of his opponent, sharply twisting his opponent's arm behind his back and forcing a pressure to the painful team in the night's last introductory competition.
Six-time UFC veteran Johnny Case (24-6-1) picked up a TKO victory over Japanese veteran Yusuke Yachi (20-8) using spikes to smear his opponent's right eye and forcing ringside doctors to stop the competition second round.
The high affair was entertaining from the start, and Case battered Yachi from the start. Right eye was already closing in the opening round, but when one right cut on the rapidly swollen region, the blood began to rush Yachi's face and body, and the doctors decided that the wound was bad enough to stop the fight.
Former UFC flight scales find mixed results
The Japanese veteran Yuki Motoya (23-5) spoiled the post-UFC debut of nine-hour octagon veteran Justin Scoggins (11-6) with rarely seen submission. After some interesting exchanges on the feet to open the competition, Scoggins chose to take the fight against the floor. Unfortunately, it would be his regret.
Motoya was able to work in a tight triangle chill while working from the back. Scoggins defended well, but Motoya released the figure four and went to the case, unlocking his hands and squeezing the tap via teepee choke.
In the early preliminary effort, Ulka Sasaki (22-6-2) showed victorious in his first match since the end of a nine-match match in the UFC, where he received a fierce decision-making tournament over the brash showman Manel Kape (12-4).
While the action was back and forth on the feet, Sasaki could control the location on the floor throughout the competition. The Japanese product allowed itself to end the match by submitting a handful of options, but Kape went through the attempt to survive until the final bell, although the judges were able to assign a clearcut decision node.
