Washington, Reinebold like the Lions, makes staff changes



VANCOUVER – Day after employing DeVone Claybrooks as a main feature, BC Lions made several tours of employees on Thursday.

Defensive Coordinator Mark Washington, Special Co-ordinator Jeff Reinebold, Offensive Line Bench Dan Dorazio, Linebacker Coach Chris Tormey, Defensive Line Bench Randy Melvin, Assistant Defensive Backs Coach Stanley Franks and Continuous Coach Coach Mike Lionello will not be offered contracts for the 2019 season.

"On behalf of the BC Lions Football Club, I sincerely thank each of these gentlemen for their time and dedicated service to our team," said GM Ed Hervey. "We are grateful for their hard work and we wish them the very best in the future."

Lionsne also announced that offensive coordinator Jarious Jackson will return in 2019 and receive coach Markus Howell has also agreed terms on a contract. Additional members of the 2019 coaching staff will be announced in the coming days.
