Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for over seven years and have been romantically involved for close to 20. In fact, it all started when these two attended the same university back in 2001. Now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are one of the most famous couples in the world. But if they hadn't attended college together, it could be very different.
Will and Kate met back in 2001
Will and Kate have been a commodity for almost 18 years. And it all started back in 2001 when the two decided to attend the same college. According to bustle, Kate was originally heading to the University of Edinburgh, but changed at the last minute and decided to attend William's school instead. And when she got there, she got her eye fast. Rumor has what is used to watch Kate jogging, and after a while he designs the courage to ask her to join her table in the dining room. But even though the two became friends quickly, they did not die immediately.
The two both participated in St. Andrews University
Bustle reported that when Kate decided to attend St. Andrews, some thought it was because she knew it was where William was going to school. However, Kate began dancing a law student not far into the year, and William also started dancing someone. But when the two were friends and went to school together, they would obviously see more of each other as time went on. But William really fell to Kate during the second semester of their first year when he saw her going to a fashion show in school. He looked at her differently from that moment and told her shortly afterwards. Middleton broke things with her law school and the couple did their relatives in no time.
Although dated for the rest of the college, the couple decided to take a break in 2007. They just broke for a while, as Kate said, made her very sorry about that time, but eventually the stars were adjusted and the two got together again – and you know how the rest went.
Kate was one of the first royal women to attend college
Kate can't be technically royal of blood, but regardless she was one of the first royalty to go to college. She was persecuted by Zara Tindall, the queen's oldest grandson. It was not common for women in the royal family to receive higher education. But how would Kate have married the prince if she didn't? Today, it is more common for royal women to go to school than it was many years ago. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, cousins of William and Prince Harry, both attended college. Beatrice attended Goldsmiths College in London and Eugenie attended Newcastle University in North England. Meghan Markle, who of course was not born a royal, also attended college. She received her degree from Northwestern University. But Kate is still one of the few royal women who have got a degree. It is unclear whether her daughter, Charlotte, will attend college.
