Following the new chapter relating to prosecutor Néstor Humberto Martínez to the Odebrecht scandal, the Alliance senator Angélica Lozano asked the official to resign.
"The country deserves a firm and open leadership for the judiciary before the crisis of impunity, corruption and injustice in our country," said the senator.
Lozano also asked that lawyer Fernando Carrillo, in the use of his faculties, take the decision to revoke the prosecutor so that the credibility and protection of the process in Colombia is advanced against the Brazilian company Odebrecht for crimes related to corruption guaranteed. .
Similarly, Senate asked President Ivan Duque to ask the UN for an international mission, irrespective of justice, like that in Guatemala, to investigate facts about corruption in the country.
The prosecutor returned to being in the midst of the controversy about Odebrecht after filtering some noise that would show he had knowledge of the alleged bribery that this Brazilian company paid state representatives to win rents.
