Richard Kingston, Black Stars goalkeeper trainer has risen sharply on the Ghanaians over Ayew Brother's recent calls to the senior team and insists that their invitation to Black Stars players has nothing to do with pressure on the technical handlers proposed by the Ghanaians on their roster.
The Swansea City payrolls were sidelined for rural missions by Coach Kwesi Appiah, last featured in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Match against Congo in September last year in Kumasi.
But Ayews is now back in the team's squad because of their impressive performance in the ongoing campaign at the various clubs.
Despite the criticism, the former Blackpool shooter knows that the duo now deserves a recall in the squad, and it has nothing to do with the pressure exerted on them in the manner claimed by certain parts.
"We [Black Stars technical handlers] do not invite players based on what people say. We have criteria for inviting players to the national team and I think this time they are [Jordan and Andre Ayew] deserve these call-ups, "Kingston told Kumasi-based Hello FM
"I'm happy Dede and Jordan are back to Black Stars and I personally think they deserve to be in the national team and I hope they put up a good performance to raise the picture of the team."
Ghana will take on Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying in Adisa Ababa later this month.
