Recently, telemarketing companies have become so unpleasant as they call us in unclear hours that affect our work and even personal life. But soon there will be one thing in the past, at least for Google Pixel phone users.
Last month, during the launch of the Pixel 3 Series, Google showed a new, smooth Google Assistant feature that was able to send incoming calls and let the owner know who and what the purpose of the call is without having to answer the phone. Now the company has released the new software update to its predecessor. It will take a few days for the update of Google Phone to reach all corners of the world.
Here's how Google Phone works: "Call screen":
When Pixel 2's phone app has been upgraded with the new feature, the "Call screen" option appears just above the "green phone" icon during an incoming call.
After selecting the conversation screen, Google Assistant takes over the conversation and presents himself to the person on the other side and asks him / her about the purpose of the conversation.
As Google Assistant speaks to the person, a transcript of the entire conversation on the screen is written in real time for the benefit of the device owner. He or she can, based on the information, label it as spam or ask more info or tap smart card answers or just press the icon to take over the conversation.
All tagged calls will be red flagged if they call back and the Pixel phone can only ignore or cut the call.
Google has confirmed to bring the Call Screen feature through the first generation Pixel and Pixel XL later this month.
