This store is IKEA's second store in Indonesia as one of its forms of expansion in retail.
The first IKEA store is located in the Alam Sutera area, Tangierang.
There is still a big market potential that allows the company to open IKEA in Jakarta Garden City.

IKEA offers a wide range of household products at affordable prices, which are expected to support more everyday life for many people.
IKEA Jakarta Garden City was built in an area of 3.7 hectares with a planned building of 89,000 m2.
The land was purchased from PT Mitra Sindo Success (a subsidiary of PT Modernland Realty Tbk), a residential developer in Jakarta Garden City.
The planned construction of IKEA Jakarta Garden City is complete and opened in 2020.
