Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Youth and Sport Minister (Menpora) Imam Nahrawi said he would not interfere in a legal case that prevented U-19 national team players from Persela Lamongan, Saddil Ramdani, on alleged drug abuse.
"It's about the legal empire, I can not interfere," said Imam after taking part in the National Dialogue Synergy of Youth Assassination, Jihad Resolution and Culture at Brawijaya University, Malang City, Monday, 11/05/2018.
According to Imam, he hoped that Saddil Ramdani would take important lessons about the event he faced. Saddil, continued Imam, is a potential football player and is expected to bring many changes to the Indonesian national team.
"Saddil Ramdani is of course a very potential football player and will later bring many changes to the national team. Hopefully, it will be an important lesson," said Imam.
Lamongas police, East Java, had arrested Saddil Ramdani after receiving a report on a dispute at Lamongan Persela team last week. The report is related to minor abuse or abuse in the 351 KUHP market or the 352 KUHP market.
However, Saddil filed a suspension of detention and was granted by the Lamongan District Police, where former Saddil was reported related to the persecution of his ex-lover, Anugerah Sekar Larasati.
The request for waiver of detention was granted because Saddil Ramdani was cooperative during the court process, it was impossible to remove the evidence and run away.
At the same time, the families of the victims and saddils have reconciled themselves. But despite the reconciliation, the matter will continue, and the police will continue to process the file until it is delegated to the prosecutor (JPU).
"Of course, we all still need energy," concluded Imam.
