Following this incident, Kediri Mayor Abdullah Abu Bakar ordered the Chief of Kediri City Health Office immediately to coordinate with the East Java Provincial Health Office.

The results of the coordination resulted in the patient's healthcare expenses being borne entirely by the government.

Including the cost of care under RSS in Malang City is also carried by the government.
