Launched in accordance with King Mohammed VI's instructions, held on November 15th-30th, with the aim of ensuring continued health care in these regions, in accordance with the guidelines of the Health 2025 Plan, especially its related sections. reinforcement of primary health care facilities and the network of medico-social facilities and the development of mobile health in rural areas.
Health Secretary Anas Doukkali spoke at a ceremony in Rabat in connection with this department and stressed that this operation targets 28 provinces in 7 regions aimed at ensuring better care for people living in remote areas through local health services and strengthen basic health, prevention and awareness services provided at health care centers.
This operation also aims to intensify the activities of the mobile medical units in the venues of residents identified in these regions and to ensure the coverage of the detected cases, through specialized medical caravans and the reference hospitals specified in the action. to ensure the treatment of urgent cases noted the Minister.
In order to implement this operation, measures have been taken to ensure access to human resources, equipment and transport at the 360 health centers moved to the affected areas for patient reception and care. , with the goal of carrying out 4 248 field visits by mobile medical devices, he explained.
Similarly, he said that 163 specialized medical caravans will be organized in addition to the establishment of a coordination system between the mobile medical devices, the regional emergency system and these caravans, with the possibility of using helicopter transport if necessary.
It will also continue to appoint reference health organizations, establish a reference and counter-reference system in the targeted provinces, mobilize a mobile hospital and establish coordination mechanisms with partners in the affected health centers, reported Doukkali.
He assured that, in order to achieve the expected goals, the Ministry will mobilize 2,478 healthcare professionals from medical and administrative and bio-medical equipment, namely ultrasound, medical laboratory mobile analysis, dental chairs, and eye-vision equipment. Transportation will be supported by mobile medical devices and ambulances, as well as the ability to transport helicopters as needed.
And to conclude that the Ministry has allocated an exceptional 5 million DH DH for medical and medical equipment and 800,000 DH to cover fuel and maintenance needs of mobile devices.
This operation will target the provinces of Chefchaouen, Larache, Ouazzane and Al Hoceima (Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima), Figuig, Taourirte, Driouech, Oujda-Angad, Jerrada and Guercif (Oriental), Beni Mellal, Azilal and Khénifra (Béni Mellal-Khénifra), Midelt, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Zagora and Errachidia (Daraâ-Tafilalet), Boulmane, Sefrou, Ifrane, Taza and Taounate (Fez-Meknes), Taroudante, Chtouka Ait Baha and Tata (Souss-Massa) Haouz, Chichaoua (Marrakech-Safi).
