It was in early October that the OBOS League club Kongsvinger confirmed in a press release that Chief Executive Officer Mark Dempsey failed for an indefinite period.
Chef Espen Nystuen took over as head coach during the season.
On Tuesday it became known that Mark Dempsey acts as head coach with immediate effect.
Originally, the Englishman had contracted the 2020 season with the club.
"I can confirm that we have moved back to England. As most people know, I have not felt well lately, and our daughter Maisie has known that things have been heavy. After careful consideration we have decided that the best is to move home, says Mark Dempsey to Glåmdalen.
Mark Dempsey has a long career as a football coach behind him.
English has been head coach and assistant coach in Haugesund, assistant coach in Molde, head coach in Svenska Djurgården and head coach in Start.
He took over Kongsvinger in July after being dismissed at Start. Now Kongsvinger has to look for a new head coach.
– The contract has been terminated after KIL and I have reached an agreement. But I must emphasize that Espen (Nystuen) has been very supportive and understanding throughout this tough time, and I really appreciate it, says Dempsey to Glåmdalen.
Kongsvinger ended in the eighth of this year's OBOS league with 42 points.
