Fulham officials have decided to reject coach Slavisa Jokanovic and have hired Claudio Ranieri to try to save the club from closure.
Ranieri, who led Leicester to title 2016, was free to sign after releasing him in Nantes at the end of last season.
"It is a honor to accept President Khan's invitation to the invitation and opportunity to lead Fulham, which is a fantastic club of tradition and history. The goal of Fulham should never be just to survive in the Premier League," said Ranieri.
Fulham is in place with five points in 12 games.
