In the case of Audi, their solution was approved by the Federal Office for Motor Vehicles (KBA), a total of eight recalls covering the service of approximately 151,000 cars in Germany.
The first recall contains the models A6 and A7 produced during the period 2015-2018, approximately 31,200 copies. They are all equipped with a 3.0 TDI engine in the 200 kW version, and Audi tells the owners that they do not worry about installing the new system because "it will not affect consumption, carbon dioxide emissions, engine characteristics, noise and reliability" .
