This weekend is the release of Amazing animals: Grindelwald's crime, the other in J.K. Rowling and director David Yates fifth Amazing animals series. Despite his desire to be normal, to be anonymous, his name wins him allied, prestige and academic benefits. The name Potter may have associations with a curse, but Harry is often blessed by it and it is his family, his bloodline and the love that comes from what saves him time after time. Harry Potter and his moniker like "The Boy Who Lived" complete his self-esteem and his moral code. But Credence, when he follows false lead after lead, manipulated by Grindelwald and his followers, is undefined and morally gray. He starve to be someone, to stand out, to weigh up in the big plane of things. While Rowling toys with the idea that he is not someone, and like Rey, a unique device, third revelation revelations give concrete answers and sent more than a few guesswork through a shocked audience. When Credence's crosses with Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz) and the secrets of the Lestrange family, he becomes fitting "The Boy Who Died" when he appeared to be someone who, if not for a twist of fate, should not have been at all.
Credence's identity changes the course of Wizarding World mythos as we thought we knew, and if the enthusiastic reactions of a fan screening populated by a handful of people wearing wizards robes is a small indication, it rewards those who have invested their time in the series across their different media. Of course, not everyone will be happy with the revelation, and Rowling's recent work has already been characterized as fanfiction. It's an interesting criticism, given that this is Rowling's world to play with as she chooses, yet, Grindelwald's crime based on the importance of names and bloodlines, and those who play it do so because of it. It's interesting to see some of the backlashes Grindelwald's crime and Rowling's efforts to tie Amazing animals to Harry Potter compared with the contradiction received byThe last Jedi In order to deviate from previous posts and immediately killing of characters, they are regarded as booklets in the franchise.
