South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled a new generation of its biggest Galaxy mobile phones in US Brooklyn last week. Unlike previous years, this year's result has thrown up two variants – a larger galaxy note 10+ and a smaller galaxy note 10. Although the usual way of naming entities is to try to make us aware that note 10 is the standard version and the 10+ note is the bigger and upgraded brother, not quite. At least depending on the size of the device, the standard version should be labeled with notes 10+, while note 10 is actually a smaller version for smaller palms and above all for a slightly lower pocket.
Notes with the largest screen ever
Regardless of the size of the device, both screens are very large. Although Note 10 is almost 11 mm lower than the Note 9 mobile phone, it has only 16 millimeters less diagonally than the screen diagonal. Note 10+, however, managed to increase the diagonal to almost the same size of the case as note 9 to 172.7 millimeters. It is the largest screen diagonal on any Galaxy mobile phone, already known as a giant mobile phone series. The larger diagonals on the screen with minimal changes in the dimensions of the device itself are due to the limit, which is really minimal in the Note 10 series. Even with a beard. But they did not give up the front camera hole. This is in the middle of the pan on the mobile phone, which is a shame. While this decision may appeal to users with a need for symmetry, moving the front camera to one of the brow angles is preferable. Especially in the upper left corner. This is the least disturbing thing when watching video content. However, it is true that the Galaxy Note is primarily marketed as a phone to a businessman using a mobile phone for business purposes. They probably don't care where the hole is, except they have as large a screen area as possible.
Both units come with HDR10 + certified AMOLED dynamic display. Note 10 also has a pixel density of 401 per second. Empty (ppi) while the density of Note 10+ is slightly higher – 498 ppi. Both screens, of course, are curved over the left and right edges of the device that we are used to in the series.
The S-pen pen detects movements
Galaxy Note's trademarks include Samsung's pen. Right from the start, it allows you to draw and create notes on your device. Some time ago, the possibility of a remote camera trigger was added, and this year the s-pen was upgraded with the ability to provide gesture commands.
The front camera is 10-megapixel on both devices with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. The Galaxy Note 10+ also has a depth sensor.
A letter from bixby and a headphone jack
The units also differ in battery size. Note 10 has a 3500 mAh battery, and Note 10+ has a 4500 mAh battery. The processors will be in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia with both exynos 9825. In the US, Canada, China, Japan and Latin America they will have Qualcomm's snapdragon 855.
Both devices support fast wireless charging, while 10+ also supports super-snap 45-watt cord charging. However, the 45W charger is sold separately.
We also look forward to the Note 10 series waving its way into the annoying button of Samsung's bixby assistant. Unfortunately, the company also decided to pull a separate input for the wire headset.
Galaxy Note 10 mobile phones will be available from August 23, 2019. For notes with 256 GB of memory, the unbound fee should be deducted around $ 950, while the price for 10+ notes with the same amount of memory will be around $ 1,100.
The South Korean company also made versions with support for 5G networks.
