Samsung introduced a folding phone

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung introduced a prototype of a smartphone that opens as a book at a San Francisco Development Conference a few days ago. Analysts, however, expected a very simple smartphone, but only the technology on which it was based was expected.

On the front of the prototype presented by Samsung over 5,000 software and software developers, a relatively small screen with a diagonal of 11.6 centimeters can be found, while the main display in the deployment mode measures 18.5 centimeters.

In the folded state, the device can be used as a regular smartphone. When opened by the user, the application used is then moved to a significantly larger screen called Infinity Flex by Samsung. Of course, it is possible to display much more information and content on this screen than on a smaller one. This is not only useful for photos, videos and games, but for example. even for news programs that can show a lot more messages.

Even better: As Samsun's message says, up to three applications can be used simultaneously on a spreader without becoming opaque. For a more convenient use, a new design of the One UI interface should be provided. In addition, Google has announced that the future version of the operating system also supports folding phones.

How to see the new smartphone is not yet known. At the development conference, Samsung presented the prototype so that it could not be seen almost anything other than the screen. It is also not known when the new smartphone will be on the market.

Sales start should not be very long. Samsung plans to launch "In the next few months" with mass production of Infinity Flex. Analysts therefore expect that the first Samsungov handsfree smartphone is expected to be 2019.

As next-generation Infinity Flex is the next generation, Samsung has invited all those present at the Development Conference to attend. If their applications are not appropriate, the collapsible phone will also be an empty device without real content.
