As part of X018, Microsoft took two well-known developmental studies, including inXile Entertainment. Are they already known role play now no longer for PS4 or PC platform GOG.com?
Microsoft studios are still on expansion course and have announced two newcomers to X018 this weekend. Consequently, Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment are now part of Microsoft's development network. But what does that mean to the titles already in the world? At least one of the two RPG experts has commented on this.
In this case, the call is inXile Entertainment, which is known to work on the followers Wasteland 3 and The Bard's Voice IV. Both games were announced for the PC platform GOG.com or PlayStation 4. Will the players on these platforms now pay expensive to give Microsoft inXile with more financial resources in the future?
A statement from the studio via Twitter now proposes to keep words at least at the two announced games and bring them as planned as a multiplatform title on the market. "We hold our promises to underservatives regarding Bard's speech IV and Wasteland 3," says the developer.
In the future, however, the direction may change: "What's all, it's hard to say that this new relationship is still in its infancy." However, it does not appear that inXile could focus on the future development of Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
At least, the follow-up of the two famous Wasteland and Bard Speech RPG series continues for PS4, GOG.com and Mac.
