The researchers found that people who ate one third or more of the meals after 6pm had a high level of sugar and insulin in the blood, as well as blood pressure compared to those who ate meals before 6pm. It was found that those who ate late meals increased the risk of diabetes by 19% and high blood pressure by 23% compared to others.
