The XFX Radeon RX 590 Fatboy OC + graphics card has a core frequency of 1600 MHz

It's no secret to anyone like AMD preparing a new Radeon RX 590 graphics card, to be presented in the middle of this month. The AMD partners are now actively preparing to submit their own versions of this graphics accelerator, and details about them are infiltrated gradually on the web. For example, it appeared that XFX is preparing a Radeon RX 590 Fatboy OC + graphics card.

Apparently, XFX decided to launch the new Fatboy series (Fatboy) along with the Radeon RX 590 graphics card release. The news got a cooling system slightly higher than two expansion sites. It contains two fans, four heaters and a rather massive aluminum radiator. On the rear panel, the reinforcement plate is placed.

The video card is equipped with two additional power sockets, one of which has eight pins and the other six. On the video output panel there is a DVI-I, HDMI and three DisplayPort. Externally, the new product looks exactly like the XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS model and is equipped with the same cooling system. Why XFX needed to create a new series has so far been a mystery.

But the most interesting thing is that, according to source, the graphical processor frequency is the XFX Radeon RX 590 Fatboy OC + graphics card 1600 MHz. Apparently, we are talking about Boost frequency mode. However, this is a very high frequency for a Polaris GPU. Apparently, the transition to 12-nm process technology has made it possible to achieve such high prices. Also note that this leak confirms the previous one, which indicated the possibility of new products operating at very high frequencies.
