Verevsky bought Kernel shares for $ 2.4 million – UkrAgroConsult

Namsen Limited, directly controlled by Andrey Verevsky, Chairman of Kernel, acquired from April 8-13, 2018, more than 178.19 million shares in Kernel Holding SA

This is stated by the company on the Warsaw Exchange.

The average share price was PLN 51.36 (approximately USD 13.45). The amount of transactions amounted to more than 9.15 million zł (nearly 2.4 million dollars)

It is also noted that Namsen Limited owns 32.66 million Kernel shares as of November 13, 2018, which represents 39.86% of the share capital (number of votes). Prior to the acquisition, Namsen Limited accounted for 39.64%.

As a reference: Kernel is the world's largest manufacturer and exporter of sunflower oil, a leading manufacturer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea to world markets. The company's vertically integrated structure is based on closely related business segments: production, export and sales of sunflower oil at home; high-tech plant; grain exports; provision of services for storage and transhipment of grain at elevators and port terminals. The core accounts for about 8% of the world's production of sunflower oil.
