An 11-year-old girl died a week after being hit by a car in South East London.
Emmie Huang was hit by the car in Eltham on Tuesday last week, but tragically died from her injuries on Friday.
The car's driver stopped on the spot and now helps the police with inquiries.
A met a police officer confirmed that they had been called to Westmount Road, at the junction with Elibank Road, at 4.42pm on Tuesday, February 5.
They said: "Officers attended and found the 11-year-old Emmie Huang who had been in a collision with a car.
"Emmie was taken by London's air ambulance to a central London hospital where, despite her efforts by medical professionals, she died badly after her injury on Friday, February 8.
"The car's driver stopped on stage.
"He has not been arrested and continues to help police with inquiries."
