Soyuz returns to service with load launch to ISS


The Russian Soyuz launch resumed the service today when the unmanned Roscosmos Progress 71 freight carrier lifted from Baikonur Cosmodrome at 1:14 PM EST (12:14 Saturday, November 17, Baikonur's time zone). Charged with over three tons of food, fuel and other necessities, it currently carries a series of maneuvers that match the International Space Station (ISS) runway on Sunday, November 18th.
