Internet Archive runs to maintain public Google+ posts

If you would rather not have your activity recorded for posterity, you can either delete your Google+ account (if it is not too late) or otherwise follow the Internet archive removal process for specific content.

It is not entirely surprising that the effort would be in place to preserve Google+, but it is an unusual situation. You can't see archivists who keep a large social network (albeit one who struggled to compete) very often. The question is whether it will be a comprehensive record – there is not much time to protect every ounce of public content.
