Super Real Mahjong PV for Switch temporarily pulled from Nintendo eShop in Japan
MightyCraft controls and revises certain scenes.
The newly released Switch version of the Sega Saturn era title Super Real Mahjong PV has been temporarily withdrawn from Nintendo eShop in Japan, publishes MightyCraft.
According to MightyCraft, Nintendo sent notice that the game was drawn due to the existence of scenes lacking sufficient censorship. Computer Entertainment Rating Organization, Japan's entertainment rating organization, expressed the same concerns.
MightyCraft is currently checking and reviewing the game in preparation for Nintendo review. A patch will be released to existing players after it has passed inspection. The game itself is expected to return to Nintendo eShop next week or so.
