The good news continues to be due to cycling. With excellent results for Norte de Santander, this Sunday ended the XXI Classic of the Caribbean, played in Cartagena between Friday and Friday. The competition was organized by Bolivar's cycling team and was approved by the Colombian bicycle association.
In the final phase of the youth category, Norte won the victory with Andrés Saavedra from Cucuta, leaves the department as others in the general classification of the competition. In the final table, the rojinegros were also present with Michel Martínez second place.
In the Elite Division, the institution won the first 120-kilometer fraction between Turbaco-Arjona-Turbaco and became a champion of flying targets with the cyclist Jossimar Jerez, from the Zulia Norte Rice team, who was also third overall while Rosario Alcides Espinel was Other.
Jerez, who stopped at 3 o'clock, 13 seconds, won the package at Angel Rivas, Juan Espinel and Bolivarense Ferney Restrepo in the first step.
Once he won the stage and became the first leader, Jossimar Jerez celebrated this new achievement on behalf of his region. "It was a beautiful stage up and down, it made a good weather, the day was cloudy and tasty."
Motilon athletes took the opportunity to thank Arroz Zulia and Calzado Power, who made the dream of participating in the walled city and developing a good job.
In this way, full of achievements, three days of hard competition ended in the Bolivarian capital, where the results of the competitors were proud of Norte de Santander.
